Why Families Choose Private Therapy

Speech Therapy Without State Programs or Waitlists

We provide private speech therapy services for children whose families prefer immediate access without state programs, insurance restrictions, or long waitlists. Services are paid directly by families and designed around the child’s individual needs, schedule, and environment.

Private speech therapy allows families to begin services without eligibility reviews, government approvals, or assigned providers. Sessions can start as soon as availability allows and are fully managed between the family and the therapist.

Care without system barriers

Start private sessions without state eligibility reviews or assigned providers — care is built around direct collaboration between your family and the specialist.

Care driven by family choice

You choose the specialist, schedule, and pace that feel right for your child, with services shaped by trust, comfort, and real family needs — not system rules.

Clarity and parent insight

Parents clearly understand what is happening, why it matters, and how to support progress, staying fully informed and involved at every stage.

01

Who This Service Is For

This service is for families seeking faster access to speech therapy — including those whose child did not qualify for state Early Intervention services, or who prefer greater flexibility, higher session frequency, or a fully individualized private approach.

Families request availability, complete a brief intake, and are matched with a licensed speech-language pathologist. Therapy schedules, locations, and session frequency are arranged directly between the family and the provider, without assigned services or system restrictions.

We also support families who are unsure whether help is needed. Clear guidance at an early stage helps parents understand what they are seeing, feel confident in their decisions, and know what next steps — if any — make sense for their child.

02

How Private Speech Therapy Works

The simplest way to start is our Free Screening Quiz. It helps you describe what you’re seeing, so we can understand your priorities and connect you with the right licensed provider based on your child’s needs and your scheduling preferences.

After you submit the quiz and request availability, we review your intake and match you with a speech-language specialist. You stay in control of the decisions — session format, location, and frequency are arranged directly with the provider.

Services may be delivered in the child’s home, within early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool (when appropriate and agreed with the provider), or in a clinic-based environment where available, depending on the child’s needs and the practicalities of the setting.

03

What to Expect From Private Speech Therapy Service

Private services typically offer faster access, flexible scheduling, and providers selected by the family. This differs from state-supported services, which often involve waitlists, eligibility requirements, and limited session availability.

Private speech therapy is paid directly by families. Rates vary based on session length, service location, and provider experience; if applicable, families may choose to submit invoices to insurance independently.

Important: these services are private and are not part of any state-funded or Early Intervention program and are not government supported. Using private services does not affect eligibility for current or future state programs.
